We serve breakfast, lunch and a snack every day. There is a three week menu providing a balanced, nutritious variety of meals, and healthy snacks. All food is prepared daily on the premises with fresh ingredients. Mealtimes are a wonderful opportunity to socialize and to learn basic table etiquette.

Ringtime is our main teaching time. This is the discussion ring during which the subject of the week’s theme is explored. Special occasions such as birthdays are also celebrated during this ring.

Creative activities are the exciting, messy part of the day. Children work with a variety of mediums including paint, crayons, charcoal, clay etc. They make box constructions, collages and pictures of all kinds. They are encouraged to experiment freely.

Sleepy time is an essential time of rest to recharge batteries for an afternoon of fun.

Toilet & wash routine teaches the children basic hygiene and self help skills.

Dancing is an optional extra mural which is thoroughly enjoyed by all.

Swimming is outsourced to Bev Steel of Pinelands swimming academy. Parents can contact her by clicking the link on this page.

Sharing time with our gentle Labrador, is a real privilege. It is a wonderful opportunity for children who do not have pets at home.
Micro time is a chance to have the exclusive attention of a staff member in a very small group of 1, 2 or 3 children.
This time is spent playing games or brushing up on fine motor skills such as threading, cutting etc
There is no time like preschool to form friendships. Children at Firm Foundation are often together from babyhood and form close bonds.
We have a variety of wheeled toys which help with gross motor & coordination skills.
These are just some of the hundreds of things that we do every day. We cannot possibly mention every activity!
